Step One

Read the Overview

Dogs picked up at your house during your appointment time slot, we adventure for 2 hours; ADVENTURING ,SOCIALIZING & LEARNING!  Then dropped back off at home.

(Socialization is the process of preparing a dog or cat to enjoy interactions and be comfortable with other animals, people, places and activities. - NOT ALWAYS MEANING DOG WITH DOG)

Adventures include hiking, swimming, or to visit dog friendly stores for public skills.

We will work on patience, as well as basic obedience, sit, stay, heel, recall or any other things you'd like us to work on during the time, but please note,  *I am not a certified dog trainer, but I will use my 20+ years in dog knowledge to do my best to help; I can refer to other trainers if needed for more advanced help. * It is also best to have constancy if you're looking to get any training out of the adventures.

If dogs get really dirty on the adventure I will clean them up as best as possible before drop off, nail trims may be done during the adventures for dog safety, and the safety of my legs 😋

During inclement weather we will be doing store visits or quick training sessions outside between bad weather, but plan to be outdoors as much as possible!

If there is 2+ inches of SNOW scheduled for my area the night before, or day of, the adventure MIGHT get canceled, I will keep you up-to-date.

All dogs will use a quick release collar while on an adventure. I can provide.

Long lines will be provided by me for recall training/hiking.

Prongs / E-collars can be supplied. If you have your own please provide. (Will only be used on dogs OK'd by the owners.)

Dogs must be 4 months old, and not in heat to participate, but do not need to be spayed or neutered.

Up to date on core vaccines (rabies, & distemper)

Time slot 1: 8-10am.   Time slot 2: 11am to 1pm. Thursdays only* 2pm to 4pm. At this time I am only offering these two days, but if you're needs are slightly different, don't hesitate to ask!

A key or code will need to be left if you will not be home, as well as instructions upon return. (lock the door, crate the dog, etc)

ON THE DAY OF ADVENTURE::

The dogs are loaded into the vehicle by seat belt & harness.

We will arrive at the adventure and spend about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on distance to drive for the best spots,  hiking, swimming, working on obedience. I will take pictures and videos and update you by the end of the day, how it went.

Fresh water is supplied in travel bowls which are cleaned every night.

I supply treats, usually cheese, but you're more than welcome to provide your own.

At the end of the adventure your dog will return home for some much needed rest and down time.

.About Me.

My name is Megan. I am in my 30's, have 6 dogs, a few farm animals and love being outdoors hiking with dogs! I have been working in the dog world since I was a child, pet sitting with my mom, and eventually when I was old enough, doing it on my own. I have had several dog walking clients over the years and fostered many dogs as well. I have worked at dog kennels, groomers and assisted with veterinary care over the years. I most recently worked at a training kennel where I learned a lot about the ideas I am bringing to this business idea. I am super excited to teach dogs, while hiking with them, or bringing them out in public.  It is dog walking with an added flare. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend =)
